Guanshanhu's completes expansion, renovation on 3 schools

Three school expansion and renovation projects in Guiyang's Guanshanhu district have been completed and put into use for the new semester, improving educational facilities and expanding school capacity.

At Guiyang No 3 Middle School, a new three-story building was completed on the existing campus. The first two floors house a student dining hall that can accommodate up to 1,000 students at a time, while the third floor provides additional teaching space.

The expansion of Guanshanhu Foreign Language Experimental Middle School added a five-story teaching complex with one basement level. The building contains 39 rooms, including 29 functional classrooms such as psychology counseling, music, computer, and sports activity rooms, as well as 10 offices.

In Zhuchang town, the renovation and expansion of Haoguan Primary School was also completed after nine months of construction. The project upgraded the school's teaching building, kitchen, and sports facilities, added more than 1,000 square meters of sports grounds, and improved supporting systems including water supply, power, lighting, and fire safety.

The three projects are part of Guanshanhu's efforts to optimize the distribution of its educational resources, expand capacity in urban schools, and improve facilities in rural schools. Their completion is expected to provide students with safer and better-equipped learning environments and support the more balanced development of education across the district.
