The finals of the "Lanshan Intelligent Painting" AIGC Hackathon Special Event were held on Sept 3 at Xiaolanshan, China's first digital cultural industry ecological village, in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang city.

Open to global entries across three tracks of short dramas, screenwriting, and short videos, the competition received more than 400 valid registrations. After a preliminary screening and online rounds, 27 teams advanced to the finals.

They completed a seven-day residency at Xiaolanshan, taking the creative journey from initial brief to final product through orientation sessions, learning forums, inspiration hikes, museum visits, themed workshops, and one-on-one mentoring.

During the finals, 27 teams pitched their work to a seven-member panel of judges, who scored them independently on criteria including storytelling, audiovisual impact, innovation, technical skill, and market potential.

Notaries supervised the entire process on-site, covering evaluation, score tallying, and result announcements. Each of the three tracks awarded one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes, for a total of 18 awards.

At the award ceremony, the planning for the Xiaolanshan Digital Nomad & AIGC Themed OPC Community was also unveiled, inviting creators worldwide to settle in and providing digital talent with long-term creative spaces, resource support, and development opportunities to help them thrive in Xiaolanshan.

In the future, Guanshanhu will continue to attract talent, foster innovation, and gather industries through competitions. This effort aims to strengthen sectors like digital audiovisuals and AIGC, sparking the integrated growth of digital villages and cultural industries.
