The Geely Galaxy A7 has surpassed 100,000 units in cumulative sales one year after its global debut in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, highlighting the district's growing strength in new energy vehicle manufacturing.
The model was unveiled at the Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Center on Aug 8, 2025.
Built on Geely's GEA global intelligent new energy architecture, the Galaxy A7 combines advanced hybrid and intelligent driving technologies with a long comprehensive range of more than 2,100 kilometers. It reached 10,000 deliveries just 14 days after launch.
The milestone has been supported by Geely's Guiyang manufacturing base, where automation rates exceed 90 percent across stamping, welding, painting, and assembly. A new Galaxy vehicle rolls off the production line roughly every minute, serving markets in China and overseas.
Geely has also helped strengthen Guanshanhu's automotive industry chain. Since establishing operations in the district, the company has attracted more than 30 auto parts manufacturers and helped create over 10,000 jobs, fostering a growing new energy vehicle industry cluster in the region.
