The atmosphere at Guiyang Olympic Sports Center in Guanshanhu district was electric as more than 30,000 fans roared their support during the CFA Team China International Youth Football Competition Guiyang 2026 on June 9.
The match kicked off at 19:35, with the China U-23 men's national football team securing a dominant 3–0 victory over the Tajikistan U-23 men's national football team. It was a high-intensity international "A-level" warm-up fixture held as part of preparations for the 2026 Aichi–Nagoya Asian Games.

Following its earlier win in Zunyi on June 6, China U-23 completed a clean sweep with two consecutive victories, conceding no goals. The results highlight both tactical experimentation and the growing resilience of the young squad.
After finishing as runners-up at the U23 Asian Cup earlier this year, the team is using these friendlies to sharpen its competitive edge, test tactical variations, and build mental toughness ahead of next year's continental challenge.
