Phase I of the Jinli Specialty Food Industrial Park in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang – capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – has been completed.

The park aims to become Guizhou's largest and most advanced food industry hub, integrating research and development, production, processing, exhibition, warehousing, and after-sales services.

Planned in three phases, the first phase covers 178 mu (11.87 hectares) with a construction area of about 171,800 square meters. It includes zones for scientific research and development, manufacturing, support facilities, warehousing, logistics, and cold-chain operations.

Focusing on specialty food processing and trade, the project integrates production, sales, and logistics, driving the development of upstream and downstream industries such as planting, livestock farming, transportation, and related services. It is expected to play a key role in strengthening the province's eco-friendly specialty food sector.

The park will prioritize industries including deep-processed chili products, meat and meat product processing, specialty beverages, convenience foods, health and functional foods, and packaging support for industrialized specialty cuisine.

The park will focus on developing five specialty industrial sectors: cili, sour soup products, edible fungi, natural drinking water, and other local beverages. This initiative aims to create a competitive industrial system unique to Guizhou, tailored to evolving consumer demands.

The park will also cultivate emerging sectors such as functional foods, convenience and snack foods, natural fermented products, and industrialized specialty cuisine.
