From Oct 1 to 8, Guiyang's Guanshanhu district recorded a vibrant holiday economy, ranking first in the city in both tourism and consumption growth. The district received 806,100 tourists, up 22.28 percent year on year, with total tourism revenue reaching 463 million yuan ($64.58 million), a 23.91 percent increase.

Night markets such as Guizhou Laoguo Street, Huizhan East Road, Fuzhou Street, and Hongjie Street became hotspots after 6 pm, with locals and tourists lining up for barbecue, iron-pan dishes, and Guizhou-style snacks, igniting a new wave of nighttime spending.

"I came to Guanshanhu for the first time, it's amazing! You can shop, watch shows, and enjoy games in the malls, and the night market food is truly authentic," said Li Xiang, a tourist from Chengdu. "We stayed three days and had a wonderful experience. We'll definitely come back," Li added.

Classic attractions, including Guanshanhu Park, Guizhou Provincial Museum, Guizhou Geological Museum, and Baihua Lake Scenic Area, also remained popular, drawing large crowds.

The district's A-level scenic spots received 132,700 visitors, while the Guizhou Provincial Museum alone welcomed over 150,000. Major parks collectively received 167,400 visitors, further underscoring Guanshanhu's growing appeal as a dynamic urban destination.
