The 14th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo will be held in Guiyang from Sept 9 to 13. As a key sub-venue, China (Guiyang) International Wine Expo City is hosting a series of events, including the 2025 World Liquor Development Summit and the 2025 Liquor Procurement Fair.
The summit brings together leading domestic liquor enterprises and trade professionals for high-level dialogue on policies, innovation, channels, platforms, capital, and digital brand promotion. It also facilitates targeted exchanges among producers, distributors, and industry practitioners from home and abroad, strengthening cooperation and enhancing the city's brand influence.
The procurement fair gathers major liquor producers and traders from China and abroad, featuring brand roadshows, product exhibitions, and business matchmaking to boost collaboration and promote China (Guiyang) International Wine Expo City as a hub for global trade.
Other highlights include an investment promotion conference focusing on baijiu's international expansion, case sharing related to new technologies like AI empowering the industry, and professional discussions on the future of China's baijiu sector.
The event also hosts the third Guizhou Consumer Goods Expo Liquor & Food Show, with over 200 booths covering 15,000 square meters, showcasing baijiu, wine, craft beer, and more. Interactive experiences such as live music, ethnic performances, cocktail shows, and food pairing contests bring a lifestyle dimension to liquor promotion.
A "Liquor Carnival" brings further excitement with activities like the "Liquor King Cup", featuring basketball games and live entertainment, long-table banquets pairing Guizhou cuisine with global wines, and cultural experiences such as traditional liquor ceremonies and handicraft workshops.
Beyond the expo, China (Guiyang) International Wine Expo City will roll out a year-long program of themed cultural and tasting events, linking Guizhou's nine prefectures with major domestic liquor-producing regions and creating seasonal highlights that combine liquor with tourism, culture, and food.
Serving as a comprehensive service platform for Guizhou's liquor industry, China (Guiyang) International Wine Expo City aims to empower the sector through policy, industry, quality, consumption, marketing, and distribution, while promoting innovation, cultural tourism, and a diversified consumption ecosystem.
