The Data Infrastructure Thematic Exchange, part of the China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025, was held in Guiyang's Guanshanhu district on Aug 28, gathering over 300 experts from research institutes, universities, and enterprises.
Three major outcomes were revealed: progress in national data infrastructure interconnection, development of the pilot verification platform for the national integrated computing power network, and typical cases in data infrastructure development. The second batch of pilot projects for national data infrastructure was also launched.
During the event, experts and scholars engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as green data center innovation, core software systems for data infrastructure, and cross-domain and cross-border data flows enabled by open data space networks.
Keynote speeches were delivered by leading figures such as academicians Chen Jianfeng and Wang Huaimin, as well as heads of national institutes like the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the National Information Center, the National Data Development Research Institute, and the China Future Internet Engineering Center.

Provincial representatives from Guizhou and Jiangsu also shared pioneering experiences in piloting data infrastructure initiatives.
As a key part of the 2025 Big Data Expo, the event provided a high-level dialogue platform for government, industry, academia, and research, aiming to advance data infrastructure construction and accelerate integration with the digital economy.
