The 2025 IFSC Asian Youth Championships U17 bouldering qualifiers began at Guanshanhu district's Minzu Dalianhuan Square on Aug 20.

Young climbers from China, Japan, Singapore, and other countries gathered to compete in a thrilling test of strength, skill, and strategy.

As Asia's premier youth climbing event, the competition not only nurtures future Olympic talent but also embraces a semi-open venue design, inviting the public to enjoy the action up close.

The event is being hosted at the Guizhou Caihu International Climbing Center, set within the 5,500-mu (366.67 hectares) urban green space of Guanshanhu Park. Certified by the International Federation of Sport Climbing, the venue features a unique semi-open design allowing spectators to watch from the lawn of Minzu Dalianhuan Square.
