Exhibition industry picks up steam

Utilizing venues like the Guiyang International Conference and Exhibition Center, the zone added eight new exhibition-related firms and introduced two brand events. Nearly 200 events were held, including eight large-scale exhibitions, covering 240,000 sq m and generating 21 billion yuan in economic impact.

Commerce and logistics transform

Southwest Trade City completed leasing of 56,300 sq m, seeing the emergence of 831 new businesses. Guizhou Liquor Expo City brought in 10 tenants and hosted 32 promotional events. Its new physical store opened in June with 76 merchants and 110 brands. The smart logistics center now coordinates 61 routes and 30 collection sites across Guizhou province, reducing logistics costs for merchants.

High-speed rail economy gains momentum

Efforts to boost the area around Guiyangbei High-speed Railway Station included engagement with 15 companies and the successful sale of three land parcels totaling 202.5 mu. With support from the joint command center, the zone conducted 29 large-scale operations and 79 regular governance actions, mobilizing 6,000 volunteers and serving over 600,000 passengers.
