On July 20, the 4th "Shanhu Cup" Youth Football Elite Invitational kicked off in Guiyang's Guanshanhu district. The tournament has drawn 60 youth teams and nearly 800 players from cities including Sichuan, Chongqing, Wuhan, Kunming, and Guangzhou.

Over the next five days, the young athletes will compete across three divisions – Middle School, U10, and U11 – turning the pitch into a vibrant stage for youth, sports, and cultural exchanges. The event not only promotes the growth of youth football in China but also highlights the merging of sports, culture, and tourism.

With a strong focus on the "sports + culture + tourism" model, the event features a special "Travel with the Tournament" program, inviting both players and spectators to experience Guiyang's natural beauty and rich cultural heritage beyond the matches.

To enhance this experience, organizers have curated educational tours to local landmarks such as Qianlingshan Park and the Guizhou Geological Museum. These outings offer players a deeper understanding of Guiyang's landscape and history while fostering team bonding.

In addition, participants will watch a professional Chinese Football League 2 competition. This live experience aims to inspire the young athletes with real-game tactics and techniques, deepening their passion for the sport.
