Guiyang's Guanshanhu district is advancing its "strengthen the district with talent" strategy by deepening market-oriented reforms in talent development and optimizing its service ecosystem, steadily enhancing the "Chuangju Guanshan" talent brand.
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), the district's talent pool surged from 120,000 in 2021 to 180,000 in 2024.
To broaden recruitment channels, Guanshanhu has signed cooperation agreements with alumni associations of prestigious universities, including Xiamen University, Sichuan University, Zhejiang University and Guizhou University. These partnerships aim to explore resource sharing and complementary development.
The district has also organized external talent recruitment initiatives. Notably, many high-quality enterprises participated in the "Chuangju Guanshan" spring and autumn recruitment drives. Special programs such as job-hunting competitions and "homecoming enterprise tours" have encouraged local students to return and work in their hometowns.
Moreover, Guanshanhu continues to host regular recruitment events, blending online and offline job fairs, as well as livestream recruitment sessions, offering a wealth of opportunities to graduates.
Over the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Guanshanhu has held more than 100 recruitment activities, attracting over 30,000 university graduates to stay or settle in Guiyang.
The district has also added over 8,900 talents in sectors like manufacturing, big data, and rural development, while successfully introducing over 1,100 high-level and urgently needed professionals.
