Government services in Guiyang city's Guanshanhu district, Southwest China's Guizhou province, have entered a new era of intelligent interaction with the recent launch of the "Guiren Zhiban" AI assistant, developed using the domestic large language model DeepSeek.

The AI assistant is now available at two dedicated stations located in Area B of Guanshanhu District Government Service Center's self-service zone and 24/7 government service kiosk. Staff members guide residents in initiating conversations with the AI assistant via self-service computers. Users can complete service applications more easily and independently by following the AI's step-by-step instructions.

The AI assistant, currently in its trial phase, supports inquiry and consultation for a wide range of basic government services and automated handling of 30 high-demand items.

"Guiren Zhiban" adopts an integrated five-step service model of "ask, guide, handle, track, and review," creating a full-process intelligent service system.

This innovative approach addresses common issues such as unfamiliar procedures, unclear documentation requirements, and repetitive visits. Integrating AI into government services aims to lower barriers for citizens, streamline processes, and ease the workload of on-site staff, ultimately improving both efficiency and public satisfaction.

To enhance the user experience and inform future improvements, the Guanshanhu District Government Service Center has also set up a feedback notebook at the AI assistant stations, encouraging residents to leave their opinions and suggestions regarding their interaction with the new digital assistant.
