Shangmai village in Guanshanhu district, burst into color on March 22 with the opening of the cherry blossom music and culture festival.
Thousands of acres of cherry blossoms mixed with golden rapeseed fields and rolling green hills created a breathtaking spring scene that drew crowds of visitors.

The festival offered a full lineup of attractions, from classical dances and live music to folk singing, traditional crafts, food stalls, and interactive activities. Photography enthusiasts also joined in, capturing the festival's beauty to share across media platforms.
The opening day alone welcomed more than 1,000 visitors. "It was worth the trip – this place is stunning," said a tourist from Heilongjiang. Residents noted that the event not only delights visitors but also boosts local incomes through food stalls, homestays, and agritourism, making it a new highlight of rural cultural tourism.
The festival runs through the end of March, with even larger crowds expected as spring approaches.
