In March, rapeseed flowers along the Changtan River in Haoguan village, Zhuchang town, Guanshanhu district, enter peak bloom, creating fields of gold that attract visitors.

Though modest in scale, the site offers a mix of natural and rural scenery, with farmhouses, pavilions, and passing high-speed trains forming the backdrop. On clear days, the fields provide a popular setting for photography and outings.

Vendors near the fields sell local specialties such as fried potatoes, rice tofu, and hotpot, adding to the visitor experience. Many also choose to stroll along the Changtan River, where willows are budding and flowers are reflected in the water.

The rapeseeds will be in bloom until late April. During this time, villagers will be busy tending their farmland while welcoming tourists. The flower fields have become a seasonal attraction, boosting local rural tourism.
