The group toured the tea gardens, where they learned about the local growing environment, picking standards, and processing techniques. They also tried their hands at Song Dynasty (960-1279) tea-whisking, gaining a deeper appreciation for the artistry of Chinese tea. "Chinese tea is not just a drink, but a living art that has flourished for centuries," one visitor said.
The program included lectures on tea culture, tea art performances, tea-inspired cuisine, and a boat tour of Baihua Lake. Dressed in traditional ethnic attire, the visitors interacted with locals, adding to the lively atmosphere.
