Guanshanhu Park: A haven for birds

On March 2, visitors and locals flocked to Guanshanhu Park in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, to watch herons gather on the lake's islands.

With the arrival of clear spring skies, the birds seemed to bask in the sunshine, perching gracefully in groups and making for a spectacular sight.

Tourists from across Guizhou and beyond were astonished to see the wild herons up close, praising Guiyang's stunning natural environment and vibrant ecology.
