Spring plowing is in full swing across Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, with agricultural supplies well-stocked to meet local demand.
On Feb 26, the Guiyang (Guanshanhu) Modern Seed Industry Park in Jinhua town reported ample reserves of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other essentials. According to Guiyang Jinqian Agricultural Technology Co, preparations began late last year. Due to weather conditions, planting will start slightly later this season, with vegetable and fruit seeds making up most of the stock.

To ensure quality, the district's agriculture and rural affairs bureau has conducted 12 inspections since January, targeting counterfeit goods and safety risks, while checking 36 businesses. Agricultural experts are also visiting farms to advise on fertilization, pest control, and other techniques.
Current reserves include 2,090 kilograms of hybrid rice seed, 22,963 kg of hybrid corn seed, 594 metric tons of fertilizer, 182.6 tons of pesticides, 3.1 tons of agricultural film, and 2,085 kg of soybeans – providing a solid foundation for a successful planting season and rural vitalization efforts this year.
