Guanshanhu ranks first in air quality

In January 2025, Guiyang bureau of ecology and environment reported that the city experienced good air quality every day of the month. Guanshanhu district led the city in composite index rankings and PM2.5 rankings.

Guiyang's average PM2.5 concentration stood at 40 micrograms per cubic meter, with a composite air quality index of 3.68.

Among Guiyang's 14 districts, counties, and development zones, composite index scores ranged from 3.2 to 4.27, PM2.5 levels from 34 to 54 micrograms, and the proportion of good air days from 80.6 percent to 100 percent.
