Five tiger mecha figures debut at Guanshanhu lantern fair

The 2025 Guanshanhu Lantern Festival and Temple Fair in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was alive with excitement, with the mecha-themed parade stealing the show.

The mecha figures are inspired by the "Five Tiger Generals", legendary military commanders in Chinese history, reimagined with modern mecha-style armor. Their bold, colorful designs immediately caught the crowd's attention.

During the parade, the five tigers interacted with visitors, dancing to music and giving high-fives and fist bumps. This playful mix of traditional culture and futuristic design added an extra sense of fun and energy to the festival, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
