2025 Guanshanhu Lantern Festival and Temple Fair lights up the city

On the evening of Jan 22, the 2025 Guanshanhu Lantern Festival and Temple Fair lit up the Ethnic Unity Square, unveiling a dazzling dreamland of lights as 60 stunning lantern installations were illuminated in a grand countdown.

The fair features six immersive zones, blending performances, food, and interactive experiences to create a vibrant celebration of the Chinese New Year.

In store for visitors are 30 themed photo spots, over 100 food vendors, more than 40 daily performances, and appearances by over 30 theatrical characters, making for a festive and lively holiday atmosphere.

The lantern festival runs through Feb 16. Locals and tourists alike are invited to enjoy the lantern displays, explore the bustling market, and savor traditional delicacies while experiencing the rich cultural charm and festive spirit of Guizhou.
