Spanning nearly 800 square meters, the exhibition showcases 378 items, including 108 sets of gemstones and raw stones. Rare specimens such as alexandrite, taaffeite, and black opal are among the highlights.
Divided into four sections – gem formation, myths and legends, birthstones, and rarity – the exhibition combines science, art, and culture to explore both the natural beauty and cultural significance of gemstones. Visitors have the chance to admire a wide variety of gemstones and handcrafted pieces while learning about their historical and aesthetic value.
Open from Jan 3 to March 30, the exhibition is free to the public. Organizers hope it will help popularize gemstone culture and promote the integration of culture and tourism.
