Guanshanhu sees first ten-billion-yuan industrial enterprise

In 2024, Guizhou Geely Auto Manufacturing Co achieved an annual output value exceeding 10 billion yuan ($1.38 billion), becoming the first industrial enterprise in Guiyang’s Guanshanhu district to reach this milestone.

On the final assembly line, production of the Geely Galaxy E5 is in full swing. Since its launch in June, the model has rapidly ramped up output, with double-shift operations beginning in September to boost daily production. Positioned as a smart, all-electric SUV for global users, the Galaxy E5 combines intelligent features with strong value for money, priced between 109,800 and 145,800 yuan.

In just 119 days, over 60,000 units have been delivered, averaging 500 vehicles per day. The model is now sold across 31 provinces and more than 270 cities in China.

The company plans to increase investment in technical upgrades, raise production speed to 50 jobs per hour (JPH), and boost daily output from 800 to over 1,000 vehicles. It will also expand R&D and accelerate the rollout of new models to strengthen its role as an industry leader.
