Guanshanhu ranks first in Guiyang air quality assessments

Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently released its air quality composite index rankings for November 2024, with Guanshanhu district claiming the top position.

Guiyang recorded a 100 percent rate of good air quality days in November. The average PM2.5 concentration was 22 micrograms per cubic meter – a year-on-year decrease of 21.4 percent. The city's composite air quality index stood at 2.50, down 11.3 percent compared to the same period last year.

From January to November, the proportion of good air quality days reached 99.7 percent. The average PM2.5 concentration was 18 micrograms per cubic meter, while the composite index dropped to 2.29, marking a 13.6-percent year-on-year improvement, highlighting the city's continued progress in air quality management.
