Middle school in Guanshanhu hailed as smart education pioneer

Guiyang No 3 Middle School in Guanshanhu district of Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently made it onto the list of outstanding cases for smart education in 2023, according to the Ministry of Education.

It recently upgraded its intra-school computer network, ensuring that each classroom achieves a standard broadband rate of 100 Mbps to provide fundamental support for smart teaching and management applications.

Also, 26 smart classrooms are now equipped with terminals connecting teachers and students to the cloud so they can more easily access teaching materials.

As a well-established school in Guanshanhu, it has formed an information technology teaching research group with AI-based teaching as a core feature.

In addition, the school has introduced resources from Chinese universities and research institutions such as Central China Normal University and Sun Yat-sen University to support its goals.

It is devoted to researching innovative ways of using AI to promote educational teaching objectives, AI curriculum teaching and design, and AI competition requirements.
