New section of Jinhu Road opens to traffic

The southern section of lot 1 of Jinhu Road opened to traffic on July 25, becoming a vital traffic artery in the western Guanshanhu district.

The Jinhu Road project is located northwest of Guiyang city, on the east side of Baihua Lake. It has a total length of 8.9 kilometers and a total investment of 4.93 billion yuan ($685.53 million).

The southern part of lot 1 links Jinqing Line and Jinzhu West Road, spanning a distance of 4.27 kilometers. This is a significant city route, featuring eight lanes in both directions and a designed speed of 60 kilometers per hour.

In the past, there was a school near Jinhu Road, and during peak hours of school drop-off and pick-up, parents' vehicles would pile up on Jinzhu Road, causing severe congestion.

With the opening of the southern section of lot 1, the traffic pressure on Jinzhu Road will be greatly relieved. It will also lay the foundation for constructing the leading road network in western Guanshanhu, promoting regional economic development, and improving the convenience of travel for residents.
