Daqin Cancer Hospital opens in Guanshanhu

The Daqin Cancer Hospital in Guanshanhu district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, opened its doors on June 17 after seven years of meticulous preparation and construction.

As a key investment project in Guanshanhu, the hospital is built to national standards for a tertiary specialist cancer hospital and with modern hospital management in mind.

It offers a wide range of medical and health services, including medical treatment, teaching, research, disease prevention, soothing, rehabilitation, bio-medicine, and the health industry.

With 2 billion yuan ($278.61 million) in investment, the hospital boasts 1,200 beds and has more than 2,400 medical devices worth a total of 250 million yuan, as well as nuclear medicine wards, laminar flow wards, and composite intelligent operating rooms.

It provides care across its 28 departments, including oncology, cancer screening, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation, nuclear medicine, internal medicine, interventional medicine, general surgery, urology, hepatobiliary surgery, an endoscopy center, and more.

Moving forward, the hospital will strengthen the formation of a talented medical team, forge strong relationships between doctors and patients, and provide world-class diagnosis and treatment services for cancer patients.
