Guanshanhu committed to creating livable environment

In recent years, with the construction of a group of projects related to people's livelihoods, Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has become more livable than ever.

In 2021 and 2022, a total of 284 projects in 13 15-minute living circles will be launched. At present, 187 projects have been completed and are open for use. The other 97 projects have also been launched and will be completed within the year.

Seven parking lots have been built over the course of two years, adding 5,426 parking spaces, and nine farmers' markets and fresh food supermarkets have been built or renovated.

Also, the renovation of three shanty towns, one old community and 50 back alleys in the district was completed in 2021.

Similar projects in 2022 are progressing smoothly.

The Huizhan No 4 Road is one of the 10 back streets and alleys in Guanshanhu that will be renovated this year. The road is more than 400 meters long, surrounded by schools, shops, enterprises and residences, with a large flow of people and vehicles.

The roadways, sidewalks and curbs will be renovated, and wall decorations, garbage bins and other facilities will be added to make it more convenient for the public. It is expected to be completed by the end of October.
