Guanshanhu district moves to develop its digital economy

The local authorities of Guanshanhu district – located in Guiyang city in Southwest China's Guizhou province – held a meeting on Sept 28 with companies attending the Guanshanhu Digital Economy Investment Promotion Conference and Middle and Medium-sized Enterprise Digital Transformation Summit.

At the meeting, entrepreneurs gave briefings on the history, corporate culture and management philosophy of their companies and expressed their desire to develop in Guanshanhu in terms of intelligent manufacturing and their digital transformation.

Qin Yongkang, head of the district, hosted the meeting and recommended that the modern manufacturing, big data, finance, commerce and trade, conference, tourism and healthcare industries be developed rapidly in Guanshanhu.

He also encouraged entrepreneurs to proffer their opinions and provide suggestions, to help build the district into a new highland for the big data industry.

Prior to the meeting, summit participants went on visits to the Exhibition Center of the Guanshanhu District (Jinyang New District) 20th Development Anniversary, as well as to Guizhou Chemi Technology Co Ltd and Guansha Lake Park.
