Guanshanhu supports development of micro enterprises

Guanshanhu district in Guiyang has invested more than 60 million yuan ($8.5 million) in the development of 600 micro enterprises, completing the local government's target for the whole year, according to data reported Nov 20. Statistics also show that the 600 micro enterprises provide jobs for 2,400 people.

In 2019, Guanshanhu Bureau of Market Supervision and Administration started to support the development of micro enterprises in three ways. It held a working conference to split tasks among relevant departments March 18. Focusing on the initiative of mass entrepreneurship and innovation, the conference improved departments' awareness of how to responsibly and effectively support the development of micro enterprises.

The bureau established some platforms, including an official WeChat account and eight QQ chat groups to disseminate related policies. Micro enterprises can also obtain subsidies and guidance through a specialized smart service platform developed by the bureau.

In addition, the bureau innovated a management mode to improve declaration efficiency. Micro enterprises can register and submit information through the smart service platform's mobile app and the application will be handled in one working day.
