Updated: 2019-10-15

The Baihua Eco-tourism Industrial Park is situated at the townships of Zhuchang and Baihuahu in Guanshanhu and will cover about 174 square kilometers. Its central location will be Baihua Data Valley with construction land of nearly five square kilometers. The remaining area will mainly house Baihua Lake Forestry Park, Baihua Lake Eco-agricultural Tourism Resort Area, a Cultural Tourism Complex, and Lakeside Floor Corridor Sightseeing Park. The Baihua park hopes to build an ecological industrial chain featuring health preservation and eco-leisure and to promote the integrated development of ecology, tourism, culture and folk customs.

Well-known institutions have been invited to draw up the development plan for Baihua Data Valley. The first-phase project of Baihua Lake Forestry Demonstration Park and Seaside Floor Corridor have already opened to the public, while Eve Fashion Group (a garment-maker in Beijing), Chinese internet giant Tencent Holdings Ltd, and Inner Mongolia-based Elion Resources Group have agreed with the Baihua Eco-tourism Industrial Park to invest in the building of an embroidery town, a Tencent small town and Baihua Lake Mountainous Park.

A dozen of large companies from home and abroad, including Guangzhou-based Evergrande, Hong Kong-based China Resources, and ShanghaiMart, have sent inspection delegations to learn about the Baihua Eco-tourism Industrial Park and expressed their willingness to invest there.

The ring roads for tourism in the Baihua Eco-tourism Industrial Park consist of main lines, connection lines, Baihua Lake Ring Lines and a non-motorized system. Their total length is 180 kilometers and investment is roughly 7.6 billion yuan ($ 1.1 billion). They cover Baihua Lake, Jiulong Mountain and Panlong Cave scenic areas, as well as the Baihua Countryside Complex.

The Guanshanhu section of Guiyang Tourism Ring Road's main and connecting lines and the Baihua Lake Ring Lines are under construction.

In addition, there is an area of 613 hectares of land to be sold and constructed in the Zhuchang section of the Baihua Eco-tourism Industrial Park.
