Updated: 2019-10-15

The Trade and Logistics Industrial Park is located in the southwestern part of Guanshanhu district with a total planning area of 27.2 square kilometers. An area of 10 square kilometers has been designated for Southwest International Trade City.

It’s projected that the Trade and Logistics Industrial Park will receive total investment of 60 billion yuan ($ 8.5 billion). It will give priority to the development of modern logistics and supporting services while becoming a large-scale trade and logistics complex featuring marketing management, international trade, modern logistics, e-commerce, sub-CBD, leisure and entertainment, wholesale and retail business, tourism and shopping.

The Trade and Logistics Industrial Park is designed as a large-sized cluster of modern trade service industries and a distribution center of cultural tourism in a drive to offset the negative development of old town, improve the functions of new town, optimize urban layout, and enhance the ambiance of Guiyang.

Over 10,000 enterprises and self-employed entrepreneurs have registered in the Trade and Logistics Industrial Park and their business operations range from garments, hardware and electronics to liquor, daily necessities and interior decoration materials.

Statistics show that about 1,000 merchants entered into the Trade and Logistics Industrial Park this year and that the average volume of its daily visitors has reached 50,000.

In addition, there are 323 hectares of land to be sold and constructed in the Southwest of International Trade City, where Wanda Plaza, Karst City Plaza, and two large-scale shopping malls have opened. Projects such as Jianghua Tourism Complex, Ikea and China Resources Land are now under construction.
