Finance & Exhibition Industrial Park

The Finance & Exhibition Industrial Park is located in the northern part of the district of Guanshanhu in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China’s Guizhou Province. It covers 5.23 square kilometers and includes the Guizhou Financial District and the Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center. It has the most modern atmosphere in Guizhou. 

The overall planning area of the Guizhou Financial District is roughly 245 hectares with a floor space of 7.89 million square meters. It is expected to attract 45 billion yuan ($ 6.3 billion) investment in total. A total of 1,370 enterprises have already registered or set up their headquarters in the district. Among them are 31 traditional financial institutions, which include banks, securities and insurance companies, and 235 quasi-financial and intermediary service organizations. The district has developed into a new pattern of industrial growth led by big data finance, internet finance and other emerging financial products, while banks, securities companies and insurance firms continue to play their traditional role. 

Meanwhile, a number of large firms such as Tencent Cloud, auditing advisory firm PwC, Grandall Law Firm and JW Marriott Hotel have set up branches in Guizhou Financial District in a drive to further improve local supporting facilities. 

As for the Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center, its total planning area is roughly 190 hectares and its floor space is about one million square meters. As the largest and most fully-fledged convention and exhibition center in Guizhou, it can meet the needs of its clients in the organization of exhibitions and conferences and accommodation and business operations. For instance, it has hosted the Eco Forum Global Guiyang Annual Conference and Big Data Expo. 

Statistics show that 394 exhibitions and 574 conferences have been held in the Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center since its completion in 2012. Around 18.2 million people visited the center during the same period. 

In addition, there are about 300,000 square meters of building space used for commercial activities in Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center, which will become a new commercial hub in Guiyang and an industrial park with total output of at least a trillion yuan in the future.
