Profile of the Convention and Exhibition Sector in Guanshanhu District

The Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center complex is composed of convention and exhibition facilities, hotels and commercial offices.

Owned by Zhongtian Urban Investment and Construction Corporation, the 1 million square meter complex consists of Convention and Exhibition City, International Convention and Exhibition Center, International Eco-conference Center, Hyatt Regency Guiyang Hotel, Zhongtian 201 Building, and Innovation SOHO. 

Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center has a floor space of 280,000 square meters and a utilization area of 120,000 square meters.

It consists of eight exhibition halls, one registry hall and an outdoor square encompassing 40,000 square meters, boasting a total of 6,000 internationally standardized booths.

Notably, the China International Big Data Industry Expo, the Eco Forum Global Annual Conference, and the China (Guizhou) International Wine Expo have all been held at Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center. The center has developed into an important window and platform for the international community to learn more about Guizhou province and for the province to embrace the world.

Statistics show that last year alone the center hosted 60 large-scale exhibitions, including the China E-Commerce Innovation and Development Summit and China (Guiyang) International Big Data Industry Expo 2018, and provided participants with a display space of 956,000 square meters.

In addition, 122 large-scale conferences and 43 other activities were held there as well last year. About 1.3 million of guests visited exhibitions and attended conferences held there that same year.

So far over 1,000 exhibitions and conventions have been held at Guiyang International Convention and Exhibition Center, attended by a total of 19 million people.
